LANGA MANGANIYAR GROUP
The Langas and Manganiarsare groups of hereditary professional musicians, whose music has been supported by wealthy landlords and aristocrats for generations. Both sing in the same dialect, but their styles and repertoires differ, shaped by the tastes of their patrons.
